Downriver Central Animal Control and Wyandotte Animal Shelter serve the people of Riverview, Allen Park, Southgate, and Wyandotte. They serve 119,700 people. Delta County's shelter is run by a non-profit. The Delta Animal Shelter serves 37,000 people. The Flat Rock Animal Shelter serves the 10,000 residents of the city. Helping Orphaned Pets Everywhere provides animal sheltering services for Gogebic County. It also provides a shelter for Iron County in Wisconsin.  It serves 22,000 people. manistee county
Mainistee County is served by Manistee County Animal Control and Homeward Bound Animal Shelter. Collectively, they serve 24,500 people. In 2018, they had a combined placement rate of 99% for dogs and 97% for cats. marquette county
Marquette's shelter is run by the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, formerly the Humane Society of Marquette. It serves 67,000 people. roscommon county
The Roscommon Animal Shelter serves 25,000 people. Schoolcraft County
The Eva Burrell Animal Shelter serves 8,000 people.
